Coming from Washington state, Emmy Rose was raised in a musical family surrounded by songwriting, which inspired her to begin writing songs at a very young age. Her passion for music led her to study music at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California, giving her a strong technical structure and foundation. Upon graduation, Emmy felt the longing to work for the church, so she began her tenure in Southern California before following the call to Bethel Church in 2015.
Emmy is best known for her features on Bethel Music’s album Simple (2022) leading “Tend”; Homecoming (2021) leading “Standing In Miracles”; and Victory (2019) leading “Promises Never Fail.” She most recently appeared on Come Up Here (2023) leading “Inheritance.” Emmy has immersed herself in all aspects of worship within the church, including songwriting and leading worship for Bethel Church services.
Throughout her journey, Emmy has held on to the theme of purity and intimacy alongside a sense that there is always more. At Emmy’s core is her desire to yield to the voice of God, believing that He always writes a better story. Emmy lives in Redding, California, with her husband, Daniel, and their son, Wren, where she continues to lead worship and write music with the Bethel Music community.
