Katie Underwood
Katie Underwood began her music career recording with UK trance act Terra Ferma in 1999. Katie shot to fame in Australia as a member of Bardot in 2000, which achieved huge success in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, achieving double-platinum sales for their debut album and singles. Katie left Bardot in 2001 and returned to the dance music scene a year later with Australian dance act Disco Montego with the #1 Club hit, 'Beautiful' for which she won an APRA award in 2003. Her first solo single 'Danger' earned her another APRA nomination in 2004. Her next dance release Be Together, (with T-Funk) was released by Ministry of Sound in June 2006 and went to #1 on the ARIA club chart. Katie has continued to record and collaborate with various Australian artists including Tanha, Evoletah, Southlight, Mystery Blonde, Greg Gould & Ka’Bel (with Belinda Chapple), Recent releases: Feel So Good, Re-release Danger 2023, Re-release Beautiful 2023 and much more on the way.... Katie Underwood is also a certified Meditation Teacher & registered Member of Meditation Association Australia. She has trained in Reiki, Sound Healing Therapy, Yoga of Sound & Traditional Tibetan Sound Healing. She has been working in the Wellness industry for 12 years and Music industry for over 30 years. Katie has produced six New Age music albums - Madrigal, Journey to Mantra, Awaken, Mantra Dreaming, Mantra Rising & Elevate. All are available on digital streaming services.
