Carla Prata is an Angolan-Portuguese musician born in London. Singing in Portuguese & English, she has built an amazing career in Portugal and Angola. Returning to her hometown in South London Carla Prata's heritage has helped solidify her versatility. From afro, to R&B, Carla is not afraid to cross genres, push boundaries & find new ways to express herself. Carla’s Colors performance was the first time showcasing her R&B talent “Certified freak”, making herself known as a pioneer in the LGTBQ+ community. Carla Prata is a proud advocate for women rights & has most recently taken part in FGM (female genital mutilation) campaign raising awareness for woman at risk. 2024 is Carla’s most exciting year yet, with her debut album “PUPA” just around the corner making Carla Prata one to watch.
