Billyrrom

Billyrrom, a band formed in 2020 by members from Machida City, Tokyo. Combining influences from SOUL, FUNK, ROCK, and more, the band creates a unique brand of next-generation pop music. Their annual solo concerts are consistent sell-outs. Billyroom has been recognized globally, including being one of 25 artists selected from over 1,000 for "Fender NEXT," winning the "Annual New Voice Recommendation" award from China’s NetEase Cloud Music in 2024, and being featured in Spotify’s "RADAR: Early Noise 2025." Nine of their music videos have surpassed 1 million views on YouTube, and they've ranked in the Top 10 on viral charts in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Vietnam. Their tracks are also featured on playlists across nine Asian countries. In 2024, they performed at major festivals e.g. FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL in Japan and events in Taiwan. In 2025, their live performances will be planned throughout Asia, an exciting expansion worth the attention. The band’s name reflects their philosophy: inspired by the steadfast mindset of the beloved jazz pianist Bill Evans and the nomadic spirit of the Roma people, emphasizing their commitment to spreading their music across various places. Their ever-evolving sound, dubbed "Tokyo Transition Soul," embodies their progressive approach to music. Billyroom is forging boldly into a new era, and their unstoppable momentum is one to watch.
