In the tranquility of Lares, a town located in the Free State of Puerto Rico, Christian Bosque Alicea was born on March 15, 1996. He comes from a musical family. His father, José Bosque, a renowned percussionist in the region and among other notable musicians, was the one who inspired Christian to follow this artistic path. Hence his great love for percussion and tropical music.
From a young age, this artist was surrounded by Latin sounds that trained his ear: urban genre, merengue, salsa, bachata, bolero, among others. "At the age of 10, I began to take my first steps in music with my dad's band, especially in percussion. At 14, he made me sing at a wedding, and that's when all my vocal talent surfaced," he says.
The Artist's Transformation
After performing on the main stages of his country, Christian was ready to showcase his talent internationally. Eliot “El Mago D Oz” a renowned Puerto Rican music producer, was the first person to see an enormous potential in Christian to succeed in this industry.
A work team was already in place that wanted Christian to stay true to his tropical essence and not stray from his true passion. Mr. Carlos P and Joshua Ramírez from Jacknine Films, along with Multiplatinum Producer DJ Buddha came into his life and recognized his roots, which revolved around salsa and the tropical genre. During his first media tour in the Dominican Republic, he met another businessman named Jay Castillo, who also contributed to Christians's musical career.
