Dariell Cano is a 17 year old singer/songwriter from Grand Rapids, Michigan.
He is second generation Mexican-American and proud of his heritage. On his
11th birthday, Dariell received his first guitar as a gift. His calling came a year
later after he gathered inspiration from Ariel Camacho and the innovation
he brought to the Regional Mexican genre. Dariell continued to progress and
gathered inspiration from Virlan Garcia and Carlos Torres. Carlos inspired
Dariell to look into Gypsy Jazz and his current music has influence from
those chord progressions. Dariell is part of the start of this new wave
in regional mexican music targeting Mexican-American teens
who can connect with the music.
