Vishal Iyer better known by his stage name Catchy, is an Indian electronic music producer - singer - songwriter who makes people groove to unique fusions of folktronica with its vibrant & energetic yet authentic & expressive tones. His music has progressed beyond boundaries and limitations since he started producing it in 2018, influenced by fusing different genres with traditional Indian Instruments over the years. He is an euphonious wizard at creating fusions of groovy EDM, Hip-Hop music, Indie Chill with Indian Instruments to weave out futuristic melody suiting diverse occasions and moods. Recently, he has also been experimenting with his sounds to deliver addictive music for the audience. His notable releases have been Barsan Laage, Aayo Re Aayo, Piya, Saarang, Bhaat, Akela Sajan, Shanti. He has collaborated with Rang Gulaabi, AB Mike, Shein and Harpreet until now, the latter with whom he has also started a band named Harkat in 2021, forming a folktronica duo thereafter. His inspirations have been a diverse set of artists and musicians, Nucleya, Ritviz, Memba, Amit Trivedi, W00ds, Gurbax and Midival Punditz to name a few. His songs have been featured in Mint India, EDM in India, Fresh Finds India: Best of 2021, and Radar India: Best of 2021 of Spotify's Editorial Playlists.
