Luis Mendoza, professionally known as LG Musik, is a New York City-born music producer from Washington Heights. His journey began with a deep love for music that took hold in childhood, even as he excelled in high school baseball. When his passion for the sport shifted, LG embraced music fully, thanks to the encouragement of his mother, Elsa Garcia, and his older brother, Alexis Romero, who helped him buy his first studio at 16. This early start allowed him to experiment and evolve, eventually establishing himself as LG La Diferencia Musical in the NYC scene. As a co-founder of 28 Musik, LG elevated his name and brand, performing over 100 shows a year alongside friends and family, which gave him the confidence to navigate the music industry independently. His breakout single, “A Beber Romo!” in 2002, brought him local fame and took him on tour to Australia. After stepping away from music following his mother's passing in 2018, LG returned in 2020 with renewed focus, this time as LG Musik, a producer dedicated to building his brand and collaborating with artists worldwide. Known for his innovative style and powerful collaborations, LG Musik is establishing himself as one of the industry’s most versatile and influential producers, a name synonymous with quality and creativity.
