RDX is Reggae, Dancehall and something eXtra!
Deejay Renigade and vocalist Delomar were childhood friends that grew up on the hardened streets of Kingston, Jamaica. Their joint passion for music lead to them forming what is today Reggae/Dancehall duo RDX. In 2007 they exploded on the scene by topping the local (Jamaica) charts with their first effort 'Dance' and followed up with 'Everybody Dance' a few months later. That immediate impact saw RDX voted the 'Group of the Year' for 2007 in Jamaica.
From then onwards RDX have been the dominant duo/group in Jamaican Dancehall music gaining international recognition with smash hits 'Bend Over' and 'Jump', plus their most recent hit being ;Shake Your Bam Bam' which has over 25 million views plus featuring on Major Lazer's 'Lose Yourself' which racked up over 35 million views on Youtube.
RDX have had successful tours of the US, Canada, Europe, Japan and Africa, gracing stages from Nicaragua to Seychelles, from London to Chile.
In 2017 RDX released their sophomore album 'Level Up' on their own Apt.19 Music label. The lead single 'Shake Your Bam Bam’, an interesting twist on Sister Nancy's much sampled classic 'Bam Bam'.
Combine the raspy vocals of Renigade launching potent lyrical rockets with the infectious melodies of Delomar over hard-hitting Reggae and Dancehall beats, flavor it with the nostalgia of 90’s Dancehall and serve with a modern edgy texture and you have the sound of RDX.
