Adanita Ross
Adanita Ross' journey is one that proves a strong will and unwavering determination can produce amazing results. She was born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens, NY. She grew up in a home that was constantly filled with different genres of music. Whether it was Cuban tunes her mother Ada would play, the West Indian rhythms from her father Anthony’s native Barbados or the urban hip hop and R&B sounds she grew up listening to. It wasn’t until Adanita caught a performance by Whitney Houston that she knew a career in music would be her future. Adanita started off in local talent shows and was eventually selected to tour with Freedom Williams of the world famous C&C Music Factory. Adanita's used this experience on the road to help groom and perfect her art of live entertaining. In 2015 DreamWorks Animation released the Netflix series Mr. Peabody and Sherman Show and soundtrack which featured the single Ferris Wheel with vocals by Adanita Ross. In 2016 Adanita released her debut EP "It's Already Written”, which produced the lead single Free Falling. Today, Adanita is giving the world a taste of what she has next in store with the release her of new single "Bodied My Heart" off of her upcoming follow up EP "The Story of Us." There is no doubt that Adanita Ross will continue to be a force to be reckoned with.
