As a talented and brilliant Artist from Kingston Ja, my birth name is given Jelani S.K.B Forbes but i go by my stage name Jay1way.
Born March 14, will mention the year later, i am and have a passionate soul for music and not only music but also my creative mind I use that love that energy in ways i can to inform, motivate, educate and celebrate people.
I am proud artist of my genre which is Reggae/Dancehall as it of my culture but I also love Acoustics, Country, Pop, Hip Hop and R&B it all depends on whatever mood am in so its I aim to please whatever mood the mood is of my fans and those who are not fans yet. The name Jay1way was developed because of my permanent personality and my mindset for always thinking about progress and being progressive hence the "1way" , Jay is the first letter of my name so at times friends and family would just call me "Jay" and together I made my name Jay1way.
