MAAD is an American singer, songwriter, DJ and curator whose artistry spans genres and mediums. Inspired by her father's musical roots and her mother’s flair as a stylist, MAAD has spent years perfecting her craft, collaborating with artists like Kelis, Aluna, MNEK, Janelle Monáe, Luke James and Lakeith Stenfield. She’s built a reputation as a powerhouse performer and creator, captivating audiences with projects such as Lè Funk (2017), Technicolor (2018), and Eventually Pt. 1 (2020).
In addition to her music career, MAAD has made a name for herself as an in-demand DJ. She has worked with a prestigious roster of clients, including Dior, Marc Jacobs, Tiffany & Co., Cartier, NET-A-PORTER, Spotify, Alo, Laura Mercier, and Hulu. Her DJ sets have electrified stages at events like Cannes Lion, where she opened for Nas, Swizz Beatz, Bebe Rexha, and Tove Lo. MAAD has also had the honor of opening for Tinashe at the iconic Greek Theatre. Known for her ability to seamlessly blend genres and create unforgettable vibes.
In 2020, MAAD joined forces with her long time collaborator, Raleigh to form RM47, an alt-electro R&B duo celebrated for their nostalgic yet modern sound. Their debut album, Stuck With You But I Like It, has drawn acclaim for its fusion of soulful vocals, sultry guitars, hypnotic synths, and genre-blurring beats. The duo has graced stages like Shabang Festival and opened for icons such as Qveen Herby and Gavin Turek.
