Goose is an American rock band celebrated for its genre-defying sound, adventurous live performances, and dedicated fan base. Comprised of Rick Mitarotonda (vocals, guitar), Peter Anspach (vocals, keys, guitar), Trevor Weekz (bass), & Cotter Ellis (drums), the band has grown from playing Connecticut basements to headlining some of the country’s most iconic stages. Blending infectious songwriting with fearless improvisation, Goose has built its audience organically through relentless touring, a DIY spirit, and a direct connection with fans. The band recently released its sixth studio album, BIG MODERN!, its third full-length studio LP in just over a year. Together with Everything Must Go and Chain Yer Dragon, the album completes a prolific creative run that traces both the band’s musical growth and personal evolution. BIG MODERN! is rooted entirely in the moment, capturing the strange duality of modern life and ushering in a new, future-facing era for the band. Built on the band’s improvisational prowess, the album moves between high-energy grooves, searing guitar riffs, and rich vocal harmonies. In recent years, Goose has sold out renowned venues, earned widespread critical acclaim, appeared on national television, charted on AAA radio, and delivered standout performances at major festivals. With a reputation for pushing musical boundaries both on stage and in the studio, Goose continues to establish itself as one of the most exciting and innovative bands of its generation.
