At 14, Lisa M. made waves with her debut album, "Trampa," in 1989, marking her as the first female Spanish rapper in Puerto Rico and Latin America. This groundbreaking work catapulted her to stardom, with hits like "La Segunda Cita" feat Vico C setting the airwaves ablaze. Her magnetic stage presence and undeniable talent soon captivated audiences across Central and South America, the Caribbean, and the United States. Lisa M's musical odyssey continued to soar with her subsequent albums, including the platinum-selling "No Lo Derrumbes" in 1990, which featured hits like Ja—-Rican Jive, No Lo Derrumbes, Menealo, and Tu Pum Pum. Her second album, "Flavor of the Latin," released in 1991, cemented her status as a trailblazer in the Latin urban genre. Underscored her immense influence and enduring legacy. Lisa M's artistic evolution knew no bounds. In 2005, she embraced a new frontier as DJ Miss M, earning her a revered place in the electronic music scene.
