Sody, 24 is a storyteller with an incredible knack for penning songs that grip the hearts & minds of her fans, creating an ever-evolving cinematic soundtrack to their lives. Every melody & lyric feels like she has poured a little bit more of her soul out & that hasn’t gone unnoticed among the half a billion listeners. Her approach to raw songwriting has proven to be a winning blueprint. Just 2 years after her debut song, she released breakout demo ‘Whole’, followed by 2 EPs ‘I’m Sorry, I’m Not Sorry’ & ‘real growth takes time’ These & the tracks that followed produced a slew of popular singles that captured the hearts of a growing global audience. From the likes of mid-tempo ‘butterfly’, emotively pensive ‘is your bedroom ceiling bored?’ - a collaboration with Cavetown - & the brutally honest ‘Bitch (I Said It,)’ she started to win over media. After choosing to leave her label, Sody returned in full force in 2023 with the aptly named 'Star Potential EP' & follow up singles 'Missing Me', 'you won't even try' and 'wannabe poet' which sum up perfectly her feelings as a newly independent artist. Keeping the raw honesty she is known for and laying down how she felt throughout the past few years of monumental change.
