Encounters is the brainchild of Tyler Hovestadt, a producer based in the Bay Area. With a unique style that blends ambient, downtempo, and live percussion, Encounters explores the intersection of organic musicality and electronic experimentation. In August 2022, Encounters released his debut album "A Path Beyond" followed by "A Path Beyond Remixed" in 2023 and has since performed with notable artists in the downtempo scene such as Kaya Project, Bluetech, Carbon Based Lifeforms and more.
