Jerome Allen, better known by his stage name Rome Streetz, is an American rapper from Queens, New York currently signed to Griselda Records. Allen's music sports a brand of 90's inspired, lyrically dense hip hop detailing drug deals, street violence, and the harsh realities of city life. Getting his start as a battle rapper, Allen first started releasing music in 2015. Since then he has released a plethora of studio albums, mixtapes, and EPs, though it was his Noise Kandy series and his Griselda Records debut Kiss The Ring that saw him gain significant recognition in the underground hip hop scene, the latter of which receiving critical acclaim and making Rolling Stone's list of the 25 best rap albums of 2022.
His frequent collaborators include other members of the Griselda collective as well as artists such as Ransom, Chyna Streetz, and Daniel Son. He has released projects with producers DJ Muggs, Big Ghost Ltd., Futurewave, ANKHLEJOHN, Farmabeats, and Daringer.
