Dr Charulatha Mani is a world-renowned Karnatik musician and film playback singer. Her ground-breaking "Isai Payanam" concerts honour the beauty of Indian Ragas. Voyaging through classical, semi-classical and film music genres, the hugely popular "Isai Payanam - A musical journey" weaves together musical forms and improvisation across various Indian languages. An accomplished researcher and academic, Charulatha is also an ethnomusicologist of eminence involved in cross-genre projects with the Royal College of Music, London and Australian National University, Canberra.
