Marion Jola
Marion Jola strucked the attention of Indonesians after her stunning audition on Indonesian Idol in 2018. She became one of the favorite and finally ended on sixth position. Her musical journey soar after the show. She released her debut single “Jangan ft. Rayi Putra” in June 2018 and received not only critical success but also commercially. She won AMI Awards for Best New Artist and also MAMA Awards for Best New Artist Indonesia on the same year. Her follow up singles “So In Love” and “Pergi Menjauh” also gains more attention and respect. By the end of 2018, “Jangan” is #4 most streamed domestic song on Spotify in Indonesia. In May 2019, she released a collaboration track with Indonesian hottest rising star Rizky Febian titled “Tak Ingin Pisah Lagi”. One of her most important milestone came in July 19th when she finally released her most anticipated debut album, “Marion”. This album as a whole is produced, written and composed by production collective, Laleilmanino who already closely working with Marion since her debut track. This album features “Rayu”, a track that for the first time Laleilmanino involved publicly as featured singers. Not only that, Marion also collaborate with one of the finest Indonesian rapper on a full English track, “Favorite Sin”. This 19 year old girl from Kupang, Indonesia has just cementing her existence as a breakthrough on Indonesian music landscape.
