Hilal Kaya

Hi! I’m Hilal Kaya — a Turkish singer, composer, and guitarist based in Denmark. My music blends Anatolian folk, Turkish psychedelia, Middle Eastern vibes, and a splash of funk and rock’n roll. You’ll find stories of longing, resistance, and passion in my songs — always sung from the heart. I’ve collaborated with legendary artist Haluk Levent and have been part of the Danish supergroup Kalaha since 2018. Our latest album Tutku with Aarhus Jazz Orchestra was nominated in four categories at the Danish Music Awards. Now, I’m also releasing music under my own name.
