Ben Kessler is a 25-year-old Philadelphia-born artist and producer. Kessler blends soulful tradition, pop charisma and singer-songwriter spirit with lush instrumentation and electronic, alternative adventurousness to create compelling songs about love and self-doubt. Inspired by artists like The 1975, John Mayer, & The Japanese House, Kessler’s world is one of unexpected contrasts. He addresses relationships and his struggle with anxiety with an air of optimism. He combines conversational and poetic lyrics through a unique blend of organic and electronic textures. His rough-hewn vocal tone challenges his tight melodies. He interprets the spirit of the classic artists he loved listening to as a kid with modern sensibilities of contemporary artists. Kessler released his self-produced debut in the Fall of 2019 and quickly caught the eye of tastemakers like Lyrical Lemonade, Ones To Watch, Complex and Rolling Stone. Ben’s catalog has since amassed an impressive 100 million streams across platforms - most notable among them being a collection of duets with Lizzy McAlpine and a remix by Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park.
