Orish, a South African hip hop artist, R&B creator, producer, songwriter, and sound engineer from Gugulethu, Cape Town. Known for helping shape the modern Cape Town hip hop sound, Orish combines hard-hitting 808s, deep basslines, soulful melodies, and innovative production to create music that pushes creative boundaries. Born Sibulele Mela, Orish began producing music in 2017, inspired by legendary creatives such as Tyler, The Creator and Kanye West. As both an artist and producer, he has built a reputation for crafting unique sounds while contributing to major South African projects, including Live From eLokshin by Simulationrxps and Alter Ego by K.Keed. His versatility across hip hop, R&B, and alternative music has established him as one of Cape Town’s most exciting creative talents.
