MAXIMUS WEL / BIOGRAPHY The Puerto Rican urban singer, Welvin Gómez, better known as Maximus Wel, has worked tirelessly over the past 10 years to become one of urban music's most promising artists. Nicknamed El Bebote, this multifaceted talent recently signed with GoldStar Music & Management, an iconic company in the Latin urban industry, known for its prominent roster and global reach. His first single with GoldStar Music & Management, titled Humedad, is an electrifying fusion of dancehall and reggaetón. Maximus Wel notes that he has recorded an album's worth of new material, which will include solo tracks as well as collaborations with artists such as Casper Magico y Cauty. Born in Caguas and raised in San Lorenzo, Maximus Wel, has always felt at home on stage. Being in front of an audience is natural for him. He began pursuing his artistic ambitions while on acting classes. From there, he went on to be a master of ceremonies, before launching his musical career as an urban artist with a hard-edged style. Influenced by reggaetón, Maximus Wel, began recording at a small studio run by a friend of his. Becoming an artist was never a conscious decision – it was just what he naturally found himself doing and improving it day by day. His first single was, Voy Escuchando Voces (I'm Hearing Voices, 2010) featuring the legendary urban artist Kendo Kaponi. A track with strong street credibility, it quietly went on to surpass 3 million views on YouTube. In 2013, he enjoyed another major success with, Se Acabó El Tiempo (Time Ran Out), featuring J Álvarez and Maluma, prior to his leap to global stardom. Maximus has also collaborated with Cosculluela, Farruko, Luigi, Franco, Ñengo Flow, Alexis y Fido and many more. At the moment, Maximus Wel's sound has evolved towards a smooth, seductive trap vibe. Writing about his experiences and things he perceives. He has found success with such recent tracks as La Habitación (The Room), Veneno (Poison), Miento (I Lie) and Me Dieron Ganas (I Was In the Mood) featuring Bryant Myers, whose music video portrays the lush beauty of Puerto Rico. On a personal level, Maximus Wel is disciplined and humble, starting his days by giving thanks to God, spending time in the gym and preparing a healthy post-workout meal – good habits that are the keys to the success he enjoys today. A highly respected artist in his native Puerto Rico, Maximus Wel is ready to take his talent to the international level with the help of GoldStar Music & Management. This time, the artist continues injecting energy through “Mi Vevé” with the recognized discographic label and all his production team. With a duration of 3 minutes and 39 seconds, this reggaetón single exposes, in a very sexy way, the theme of seduction. According to Maximus, “Mi Vevé” presents a situation that everyone has lived; the moment you are tempted to be physically involved with someone that you like more than a friend. The single was written by Maximus and produced by Montana The Producer, Jancy El Armónico (and their producer Young West), Chris Ander and André The Giant. “Mi Vevé” will be available in all digital music platforms on October 2nd. Like his first single,”Humedad”, “Mi Vevé” promises to be a song that will conquer the urban-genre. 11/13/2019 Single “Sabroso” “Sabroso” is the third single of renowned urban-genre artist, Maximus Wel. The artist recently launched with success in all digital music platforms the singles; “Humedad” and “Mi Vevé”, alongside the iconic discographic label GoldStar Music and BMG. Once again, Maximus remains stronger in the genre with his new song “Sabroso”; a smooth reggaetón song with a duration of 3 minutes and 22 seconds, that embraces seductive rhythms. “Sabroso”, tells the story of a woman in an unhappy relationship pursuing the attention of a man. The single was written by Maximus and produced by Montana The Producer and Chris Ander. Like his previous two songs “Humedad” and “Mi Vevé”, “Sabroso” will be available in all digital music platforms on November13th. According to Maximus, all his songs are inspired by real life situations and “Sabroso” is not the exception. Destined to be another top hit, “Sabroso” will conquer the urban-genre and their fans.
