Alex Boyé
*Grand Prize Winner of Hard Rock Risings Battle of the Bands Contest* For more info, visit: www.hardrockrising.com Following almost 1 billion views online as an independent artist, Alex Boye's 'multi' branding has just been taken to an even higher level of excellence and star power with the help of grammy award winning producer 'Blac Elvis' (Beyonce, John Legend, Usher, Ciara, Jill Scott) ) and Neff-U (Michael Jackson, Mary J. Blige, Ne-Yo, Dr. Dre, Justin Bieber) Alex Boye is truly a multicultural and multigenerational artist. He is comfortable in Carnegie hall to Coachella and everything in between. Of Nigerian descent, Alex was raised in London where he began his music career in the successful European boy band Awesome, selling over half a million albums before moving to the US to pursue a career as a solo artist. With a powerful voice and contagious energy, Alex has developed a uniquely arresting performance style and diversely influenced sound. His blend of African-infused pop music and vibrant, dynamic visuals have led to viral hits, with almost 1 billion views on his YouTube channel. He has shared the stage with many notable artists including, Jay-Z, Tim McGraw, George Michael, Missy Elliott, Justin Timberlake, The Beach Boys, and opened for Olivia Newton John at the world-renowned Royal Albert Hall in London. Throughout his career, a genuine concern and generosity toward others has led the way for Alex. He has raised money for many causes by way of his music and maintained a message of positivity and perseverance in his lyrics. His latest single, “Bend Not Break” (prod. Randy Jackson) is closely tied to the cause behind Suicide Prevention. Alex has just been made an official advocate by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and his goal is to use his music to carry messages of hope and awareness for those struggling with mental illness. Elvis who is working on Alex's brand new album to be entitled "Coming to Amerika " says "I don't know why Alex is not a huge star yet, but he will be after this album is unleashed."
