Ty James is a rapper/singer from Indiana, but more importantly: Ty James is a genre-bending talent. Born with a natural ability to create infectious melodies, Ty’s music can be universally enjoyed by a wide variety of fans. After 7 months of searching YouTube for amateur beats and self-releasing music on SoundCloud, Ty was discovered after his song “Left on Read” saw independent success with over a million streams. As a result, Ty was quickly named an Artist To Watch for 2019 by SoundCloud. Drawing Pop, Hip-Hop, and RnB inspiration from artist such as JAY-Z, Drake, and Justin Bieber. Ty is poised to succeed with deep understanding of the current wave pioneered. Ty’s debut song, “No Option,” released in January and was featured on HOT 97, SoundCloud, among others. Ty’s next release, “Splash,” dropped on 2/1 as a collaboration with new producer “unheard”. "Splash" has been added to stations across the county and amassed over 500,000 streams alone. Following "SplasH", Ty released a preview of his new EP "Melodies" with 30-second previews of each song.
