Sydney-based producer Arona Mane announced himself in 2015 making those in the know stand up and take notice of his constant stream of smooth, '80s-tinged, funked-out remixes, edits and originals. Kickstarting with his release 'Things You Do' being premiered on Triple J's Friday Night Shuffle, the track went on to make its way onto the HBO series Ballers.
Arona Mane dropped his debut EP '2096: Retro/Future' in June of 2016, with the much- hyped collection already racking up over 1,000,000+ plays on SoundCloud.
'2096: Retro/Future' introduced Arona Mane's sound to the world, showcasing a variety of inspirations from Hip-Hop, Funk, RnB and Disco.
His originals Things You Do, Teardrops and P.O.T.G.S (Pass Over That Good Shit) have been championed by Spotify, with the later receiving a coveted spot on the New Music Playlists and up to 1,000,000+ streams then upon it’s release reaching the Top Ten of the Hype Machine charts.
With the likes of Hypetrak, Dancing Astronaut, Earmilk, Stoney Roads, Nylon Mag and Pilerats amongst his most vocal supporters, plus the almighty Diplo himself enlisting Arona for BBC Radio 1 premiered Major Lazer remix as well as including two of his latest releases in his Diplo & Friends show.
