Jack Newsome is a pop thoroughbred from Rumson, New Jersey. As a teen he went from distributing demos from his locker to training with several boyband projects between NYC and Berlin, Germany. He was voted “Most Likely to Star On an MTV Reality TV Show” in high school, which proved to be a prophetic superlative.
In 2019 Jack made his national television debut on NBC’s Songland with “Lying (Next to You)”, a song originally pitched to Kelsea Ballerini. He also co-wrote “Hurt Me” which was recorded by Meghan Trainor, which lead to a publishing deal with his mentor / Nashville hit songwriter Shane McAnally.
He’s since written songs for TXT, Matt Schuster, Kylie Morgan, Grey, Esther Yu, Zolita, Alex Sampson, Grant Knoche, and more. Jack seamlessly moves between pop, country, dance, rock, hip-hop, and K-pop.
As an artist, Newsome has released 2 EP’s and amassed +22 million streams so far. He’s released dance collaborations with Said the Sky, Midnight Kids, and Terry Zhong. Fans can expect much more music from the multi-hyphenate musician this year.
