Otis Kemp has rapidly established himself as one of Gospel/Christian music’s most innovative voices, melding the soulful resonance of church anthems with the raw energy of Miami’s hip-hop style. Kemp has consistently pushed stylistic boundaries, positioning himself as a bridge between tradition and urban culture. In 2024, Kemp made history with his breakout single “Daily Bread,” which became the first national # 1 release by a South Florida independent gospel artist .The track claimed #1 on both the Billboard and Mediabase Gospel Airplay charts and dominated SiriusXM’s Kirk Franklin Praise “11@11” countdown for two weeks, cementing Kemp’s reputation in the genre. Building on that success, Kemp’s follow-up collaboration “Everything,” featuring Lena Byrd Miles, also ascended to No. 1 on the Billboard and Mediabase Gospel Airplay charts. In June 2024, he unveiled his debut full-length project, Meet Me in Miami, an album praised for its eclectic blend of traditional gospel, R&B, and street-inspired beats that drew in a diverse new audience. Kemp is heading towards another #1 with “Church Parking Lot,” a dynamic pairing with powerhouse gospel vocalist Tasha Page-Lockhart. The single sits comfortably within the Mediabase Top 40 Gospel Airplay chart as of mid April 2025 and he followed it with the digital release of “Church Parking Lot- Remix” under his own Revive 5.0 Entertainment label, introducing listeners to renowned label artists Minon Bolton and Rodney Kohn.
