Project Tapeworm

ALONE, INLAND EMPIRE and BLUE MONDAY are out now! Together, they preview the next phase of Project Tapeworm and establish a musical trajectory that is more lush, melodic, widely-appealing and internationally collaborative. These tracks feature contributions from incredible artists such as Atlas//Anon, Ppalepinkk, Shane and Jarin, Charles Horin, Plummy, Acid Rescues and Collide the Sky. Project Tapeworm's musical journey began in the summer of 2003, when he picked up electric bass with the intention of being in the school band. He played in various bands (jazz, rock, cover and drumline) as a bassist until 2019 when he started dabbling in synthesizer as well and formed this project. His unique sound - having been featured on AnalogueTrash, Acid Ted Blog, the New Artist Spotlight Podcast and Shellshocked Radio - pulls from electronica, rock/metal, soundtracks and experimental music. His back catalogue is comprised of three instrumental releases, mastered in large part by Zac Tiessen. Most recently was Ions/Eons, an EP that weaves a tale of the human condition by way of space travel and recursive annihilation. Dissonant Synthesis is a full-length album that puts eight brand new tracks alongside the eight from Phase 1 - Project Tapeworm's debut EP release. Stay tuned, more music is on the horizon!
