Simma is a DJ/Producer based in Kingston Upon Hull, blending together raw digital reggae, dubbed out hip-hop and heavy soundsystem steppas! 2024 saw the release of Simma Enters The Game, the debut album which enlisted a globetrotting roster of vocalists and also marked the launch of the SUPERCHIP label - the album received high praise on BBC 6Music, 1Xtra & Rinse FM and is available now on vinyl + cassette He is also the brains behind the Dub Junction record label, releasing music from Vibronics, Ashanti Selah, Manasseh + more. Simma recently made his own contribution to the label with All Praise, collaborating with Dbc3 & Tubby Isiah A regular face behind the decks, Simma has warmed up for the likes of Chase & Status, Grandmaster Flash, Lee Perry, Toots & The Maytals, Fatboy Slim, Macka B and General Levy - as well as hosting his own 'Hull Dub Club' events and uploading mixes to YouTube, which have gained over 200,000 views get in touch: simma@dubjunction.com
