Award-winning South African DJ, producer and songwriter Nkanyezi Kubheka has spent over two decades shaping his sound through Afro House, Deep House, Amapiano, Sgidongo and Afro-Tech. Rising to national recognition after winning the 2020 Budweiser King of the Decks competition, he has continued to build a catalogue that balances dancefloor energy with heartfelt storytelling. His music ranges from bass-driven club records to soulful, gospel-inspired productions, reflecting his passion for African rhythms, melody and innovation. As the founder of NK Projects, Nkanyezi is also dedicated to artist development and independent music distribution, supporting emerging talent while expanding his own global reach through collaborations, live performances and a growing catalogue of original releases. Every project is driven by a simple purpose: creating timeless African music that inspires, uplifts and moves people.
