Julian David Cross, born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, is the youngest son of Deanna Cross (nee Tatum) and the late Bishop Andre T. Cross. He is an American gospel singer with a rich music legacy rooted in Memphis, Tennessee. Julian uses his immense talent to encourage and inspire audiences of all backgrounds. His youth and sophistication also allow him to reach his generation in a fun and straightforward manner. The grandson of STAX recording artist, Wendy Rene, Julian exudes a natural old school vibe when performing. With other musical influences such as Kim Burrell, Donny Hathaway, and Frank Sinatra, Julian offers a diverse brand of inspirational music. Julian is a product of the pentecostal church, Apostolic on his mother’s side, and Church of God In Christ (COGIC) on his father’s side. He began singing in the church as a toddler with his older brother, Michael. His style of inspirational music is a mixture of soul, contemporary gospel, and praise & worship. A multifaceted young man, Julian is a student at the University of Memphis, an entrepreneur, a community activist, and a youth advocate. Music, however, has always been such a big part of his life that he recorded and released his first single, “You Have Won Again” in Spring of 2021 to premier his talent worldwide.
