Donaven
Donaven is a Boulder-based, queer pop singer/songwriter & electronic topliner with over 2.5-million Spotify streams.
At the end of 2018—after years of posting covers & originals on SoundCloud and YouTube—Donaven stepped into the EDM scene by releasing Superhuman (feat. Donaven) with mISHØ under Frequency Music. Since then, he has continued to collaborate with producers, artists, & labels internationally. Donaven has had the privilege to work with the talents of Coffeeshop, BTWRKS, & TH3 DARP. His music has seen support from Airwave Music, Future Bass Records, Dubstep N Trap, Shake Music, Maron Music, & Tunemunk Records. In early 2022, Permanent was featured on Spotify’s editorial playlist Electro Mix.
Donaven's present lyricism & emotive, dynamic vocals are inspired by James Arthur, Melanie Martinez, Ed Sheeran, Gavin DeGraw, & Demi Lovato. His artistry is rooted in vulnerability, exploring the human condition through his lived experiences of trauma and recovery, hope, & self-discovery. Donaven is currently recording his first independent project. The lead single, Speak, was released in May 2023.
