Scottie Swirv started out in 2005 by winning a radio competition on the Star and Bucwild Moring Show. This lead to a local buzz and started swirv to take his music seriously. After this he decided to learn more about the music industry and the recording process. He attended IAR in New York City and landed an internship at G Unit Records. He learned a lot there about promotion and marketing and managed club promotions in Downtown Hartford CT. After the internship he went on tour with French Montana in 2010. Working as a videographer he filmed for French and this experience lead to him filming many various artist music videos in Hartford Ct. Leading up to helping Fuego Base release his projects Swirv filmed and co starred in Homicide Hartford 860 a youtube web series that gained notoriety. During this time Scottie Swirv released various songs.
