Club Danger
Club Danger is an electrifying alt-rock duo consisting of producer/vocalist Riley Friesen (Jen Ledger of Skillet, Stephen Christian of Anberlin) and songwriter/instrumentalist Derek Mount (Family Force 5). The inventive pair combines fuzzy guitar lines with contagious harmonies to create an aggressive, deceptively dancey sound. Early Club Danger releases have quickly earned several placements (Fox, ESPN, MTV); millions of YouTube/Spotify streams; and coveted invitations to perform at several of Nashville’s hottest showcases. Riley and Derek previously joined forces on custom pieces for feature films (Disney, Lionsgate) and numerous records for major labels (Warner Bros., Atlantic Records), topping Billboard charts with eight number-one hits and fifteen top-ten songs. Recognizing an undeniable chemistry, the partners began to collaborate regularly with artist/songwriter Sam Tinnesz (Ruelle, Banners) pouring their passions into the innovative amalgamation of their favorite riffy influences, and proudly debuting Friesen’s versatile vocal abilities. Club Danger hits hard, with future forward soundtracks that proudly accept the best elements of overdriven rock, catchy pop, and dark dance music.
