“Hey I’m Alex, singer, songwriter & producer of nostalgic pop. My songs have been described as unforgettable, anthemic and brutally honest. My inspiration is pulled from my navigation of romance and its joys and woes. I use my songs as a public diary to share my lessons as a cathartic hug to those who might be going through the same things. I was lucky to reach the "Long List" for the Glastonbury emerging talent competition and have had some great support for my music from BBC introducing and other radio stations who have compared me to Kate Bush. I haven’t been recording music for very long but I am running 100 miles per hour at it. I want to encourage others that they can take the leap and do the thing that scares them to most. I spent many years living vicariously through my dreams and now feel so lucky that In some way I am living them now- So if you've got a secret dream burning inside you, my advice is simple—go for it, fearlessly and unapologetically!” This Summer she has just released two singles of her second EP which have been well received “Alex Kate’s newest single “One Plus One” is nothing short of magnificent” (We Write About Music) ““Summer Wagon” is the new sweet summer anthem that’ll get you hyped and chilling at the same time this summer.” (Sistra) She hopes to create worlds with her songs where people can be inspired, gain solace and get lost in. She has an EP Launch show at St Peter's Church, Notting Hill on 13th October.
