Låpsley saw a rapid rise to fame as a teenager, with debut album Long Way Home producing instant-classics like ‘Hurt Me’ and ‘Operator’. Her following works - Through Water & Cautionary Tales of Youth marked her shift towards a more confident & conscious artist - asserting her queer identity, stance on climate issues and chronicling her turbulent coming-of-age experiences. Her love of Pop also found a natural outlet as a songwriter for artists like Joel Corry (Out Out - platinum hit), Barry Can’t Swim (Woman), ODESZA (Equal) & Paloma Faith (Bad Woman).
